An immersive journey into the heart of the symphony orchestra through Maurice Ravel's universal classic that follows in the footsteps of the successful Symphony.

The ”la Caixa” Foundation offers an immersive journey to enjoy classical music in an innovative way through virtual reality (VR) technology, featuring Ravel’s classic Bolero, conducted by maestro Josep Pons and directed by Igor Cortadellas.

The project, in collaboration with the Gran Teatre del Liceu, invites viewers to step inside the orchestra and enjoy the entirety of this hypnotic classic by Maurice Ravel from a privileged location: in the middle of the orchestra, surrounded by the musicians, in a 360-degree experience.

After the success of the multi-award-winning Symphony project and following in its footsteps, the ”la Caixa” Foundation presents an immersive experience premiered at CaixaForum Barcelona, where it shares the same space – with different sessions and schedules – as its predecessor. More than 150 people, including musicians and technical staff, have worked with the Symphony Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the creation of this project, which visitors can enjoy at the cultural centre in the Catalan capital.
