Description

Yanguas holds a PhD in Biological and Health Psychology from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He is the scientific director of the programme for the Elderly at the ”la Caixa” Foundation, professor at various Spanish and international universities, and project director at the Aubixa Fundazioa. He is an expert in Advanced Methods of Applied Statistics and holds a master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, as well as an MBA from the University of Deusto. He served as President of the European Region of the Social and Behavioural Sciences Section of the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics from 2014 to 2018. In addition to being the author of numerous scientific articles, he has led international research projects and is recognised globally as an expert in new models of care for older adults.
